We invite you to attend our one-day programs which are held three times a year.  Programs are designed to give our members and other interested parties information about various careers, employment trends, and professional development topics of interest to career counselors.

10:00am – 12:00pm - Morning Program:

 

- How Emotional Intelligence can be used in our career counseling sessions

  with students and alumni 

- How EI relates to locating talent

- How managers are able to inspire their employees and get a
  great return on their investment using EI

- How it can be utilized in team building efforts 

- The impact it has on derailing career paths

1:30pm-3:00pm - Afternoon Program:

An introduction to a basic EI inventory will be given. 

We will be provided with a hands-on opportunity to familiarize ourselves with an EI survey. 

 

Members are needed to participate in planning upcoming programs. Each program committee meets once to design the day's event. Individuals can select to participate by helping to make site arrangements, get speakers, design the mailing or handle registration.
